The Refuge Youth Ministry

(Ages 13-18)

 

 

 

Welcome to The Refuge - TFC's student ministry. Students today are bombarded with messages and images through the media and other influences that challenge Biblical principles on how God would have them live their lives. It is the goal of the student ministry at TFC to provide a safe place - a refuge - where students can explore Christian faith, ask the hard questions, and connect with others who are doing the same.

What we're about...

 

 

We at Trinity Family have adopted as one of our mottos, "Come as You Are," and this is no different for the youth group! As leaders of the Trinity Family youth group we're about connecting with teens and having teens connect with one another as we all seek to connect with God.

 

What to expect ...

 

 

Each meeting tends to be a little different, but there are some things that will happen during every meeting:

  • We will worship God through song, through prayer, and through Scripture reading.
  • Sometimes we start the meeting out with something fun, such as a game or some kind of activity.
  • We’re currently starting a series titled Living into the Story of God. The series highlights the Bible as the story of God rescuing us.
  • We’re about making connections – with one another and with God.

 

Serving Others (Matthew 25:31-46) ...

 

 

One of the responsibilities of being a Christian, as Jesus has instructed us, is to serve those in need. At TFC we seek to honor Jesus' instructions as we participate in activities that help others who may be less fortunate.  We're always looking for ways we can serve others as we remain faithful to Jesus.
