Serving Others

Serving Others - smaller - Service DayA follower of Jesus is committed to serving others.  If we’re honest, we’d admit that it’s easier to serve ourselves than to serve others.  This was true of Jesus’ first followers, too.  Just before he went to the cross, Jesus overheard some of his followers arguing over who was the greatest.  Jesus ended their argument by telling them this, In this world the kings and great men lord it over their people, yet they are called 'friends of the people.  But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant. Who is more important, the one who sits at the table or the one who serves? The one who sits at the table, of course. But not here! For I am among you as one who serves. – Luke 22:25-27

At Trinity Family, we’re committed to following Jesus’ example of serving others.  We do this by serving on ministry teams both inside and outside the church.
