Giving Sacrificially

God doesn’t need our money.  Yep, we believe that.  Trinity Family isn’t after anyone’s money, either.  We practice the discipline of sacrificial giving however, because we know that how we spend our money demonstrates the values of our heart.  The reverse is also true; the best way to change the values of our heart is to change how we manage your money.  Jesus taught this when he said, Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. – Matthew 6:21.  We value the things of God by giving to the work of God.  We give to support the ministry of this church as well as other churches and ministries across the world. 

Everything we have is a gift from God.  The question isn’t, “how much should I give?” but “how much should I keep?”  Sacrificial giving trains us to hold onto things loosely and to God tightly.
